Each week I post a few of my personal travel photos to inspire your travel dreams. Sometimes your journey takes you to places that are not happy but a time to reflect on a life lost. We paid our respects to these fellow travellers:

I sometimes visit graveyards - my husband thinks it’s terribly macabre, but I think it’s something I picked up from my mother and it also gives you a feel for the history of the place. It doesn’t just have to be of famous people (but they are usually the only ones we take photos of).
A few years back I visited a small town in southern NSW (Australia) and there was an alarmingly high number of infant and child graves. When we stopped in the pub later, I enquired to one of the ‘oldies’ that looked like they were part of the furniture, and they said that there was an epidemic of some sort at the time. It was interesting to follow the clues left behind.
Nice blog. I’ll be back!
