Legend of the Motorcycle: Concours d’Elegance

After a successful inaugural event in 2006, the Legend of the Motorcycle Concours d’Elegance is scheduled for the first week in May at the Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, California. For motorcycle enthusiasts, Legend of the Motorcycle is an opportunity to see some of the most desirable and rare motorcycles ever built. This year the organisers are featuring bikes ridden into history at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy races. The collection represents a 100 years of racing at the Isle of Man TT, and includes the MV Agusta 500 ridden to victory in the 1966 Junior TT by the unstoppable Giacomo Agostini.

The events run over six days beginning with an invitation only reception in LA followed by a ride from LA to Half Moon Bay on May 2nd. The Concours Day May 5th includes motorcycle and charity auctions and awards presentation including a Lifetime Achievement Award to Willie G Davidson, Senior Vice President & Chief Styling Officer of Harley-Davidson Motor Company.

Tickets are available now, pull out the leathers and polish your ride for a great week-end of motorcycling elegance.
